Well I picked up my 06 Acura TL 6spd Navi. (Black w/ Black int) last Monday and am happy to report that I'm thrilled with it. I've put ~400 miles on it already and I've enjoyed every moment of it. It's by far the most comfortable car I've ever driven but it's also fun to drive too.

Power delivery in this car is superb, though nothing jaw dropping, it is silky smooth all the way to redline. It has plenty of power to get around town and have fun, but also enough to merge on the highway without fear of getting run over. It's no monster by any means but it is sufficient for the car by all means.

The gearbox is awesome and gear changes are silky smooth. My only complaint with the 6spd is the lack of feedback from the clutch (very wet noodly). After driving it all week, I hopped in the STi for the first time in over a week yesterday and found the clutch to be like trying to push a boulder. Overall it's not a bad thing though since it does contribute to the effortlessness of driving the car.

The TL handles suprisingly well for its size and being FWD with minimal body roll even during relatively high speed cornering. The ride is very nice, cushioning most everything but still letting you know what the road is like. I don't like extremely cushy rides and this is a nice medium between the STi and the floaty sensation I've found in other cars.
I haven't tried it in the snow and don't really plan to (providing more is on the way) since I have 4WD truck to drive otherwise, but I'd imagine it would be pretty capable with a good set of snow tires. Brakes are very good as well, almost on par with the STi's brakes.

The interior is just awesome, I feel like I'm in an airplane cockpit with all the buttons lights everywhere. I'm slowly memorizing where everything is since there is so many buttons. The voice command stuff is pretty cool too, but I haven't been lazy enough to really use it to it's potential. The Bluetooth integration with my Motorola V557 is flawless. So far everyone I've talked to using the car's phone system said it sounded very clear like I was talking directly on the phone. I haven't gotten a chance to play much with the navigation but from what I've played with I'm very impressed with it and it's leaps and bounds better than the navigation that was in my RX-8.

Only downsides thus far is the torque steer. While not present unless you floor it in lower gears, it is there and does remind you that it's FWD. A flaw that I'm very willing to forgive, however, due to large quantity of extras and features for the price.

So far all I have to say though is  :D

The TL makes a 3rd. My wife drives the STi and until the TL I drove my Titan after trading the RX-8 for it.

I love the TL. what did you pay for yours?

only thing making me balk at buying one is the inflated price tag

I don't think the new price is all that inflated. The used prices are pretty ridiculous though . . . monster resale.

Could you imagine how bad the torque steer would be if the car actually made 270hp?!

I paid just under sticker for it. Overall, I wouldn't call the price inflated really. Especially when you compare the features to a lot of other cars. If it were AWD it would be THE car the have for the money, IMHO.
