YACT: I didn't give up and I found the car!

Update:
While I was searching the auto ads this week looking for a 70-71 Torino GT I think I found the car. A gentleman has a 70 GT convertible for sale in PA and is asking a little less than $4000. It?s clean and only 41K miles, but it has some minor dent and is starting to rust in the typical location for a northern car.

I?m calling the guy tonight to make an offer and get the VIN. I?ll post some pictures in a few minutes.

Thanks for all the support, especially Farmgirl.

Aside from wishing for the factory wheels, looks like you found your car. Very nice!!
The factory wheels are available.
nice car, hope the deal works out for you.
351C is a great engine
probably has a FMX tranny
It's a 351C 2v, but I have the right parts to make it a 4v. It also has the C4 transmission which is very rare to find for a 351C, most of the them had a FMX or C6 by 1970.

I had always read that the 2v heads were better for the street. The 4v heads ports were too big to have good low rpm breathing.

Edelbrock used to make a 4v manifold to fit on 2v heads.
man, I learned how to work on cars with my 71 cougar XR-7 with the 351c 2v motor. Best car I ever owned.

You read right and I have several 2v & 4v manifolds to choose from to covert it to a four barrel engine.
