Would it be possible to use a steam cleaner on leather, or is steam too hot for leather?
Thanks.

Yeah, the shampoo lookin stuff. I used Mequires cleaner / conditioner, no luck. Its some gum like crap that sticks like no other, but I think steam would break it up enough so I could at least wipe it up. Hence the idea of the steam cleaner.

You get the Weekly Award For Most Whacked Out Question. Leather is pretty delicate...unless you're talking about motorcycle jackets.

That's like saying "my child got dirty at the playground; can I use my 3500 PSI pressure washer on her face?"

steam is hot

try ice or something to freeze it. Rub an ice cube on the gum for a while and then try to peel it off.

Water or any other liquid will stain leather, if it's the good stuff. If you steam the whole thing were it looks the same all over then you'll be OK otherwise you're just gonna fux0r it up.

Water+Leather=Bad

,unless all we are talking about is a damp rag.

I might try GooGone in an inconspicuous place after trying the ice.

HAHA! I didnt mean a PRESSURE washer!
I got some POS cheap ass steam cleaner (Like you see on Home Shopping Network)
Yeah, I know lots of water is bad, I usually use a rag and warm water and wring the rag out pretty well. But, it didnt even phase the Goo. So, I thought a low pressure steamer cleaner thing I got might do the trick if I just give it a quick squirt. I surely dont wanna get any chemicals (like alcohol) to do this....
