I live in Chicago, IL. Have a Kia Sportage 2000 my mom lost the keys so I need to replace the alarm system & all the locks 2 on the front door & the trunk. How much do you think it will cost.

I have more keys but I dont know where the keys were dropped I dont want anyone to just leave with the car like it was theirs. The keys had the alarm thing on there to arm/disarm the alarm.

can't you just go back to the dealer so they can reprogram the alarm with a new key for you? they will probably charge you around $50-200$, depending how bad they want to rip you off.

How are the people going to know which car the keys belong to? 😛

chances are they wont find the car (after all its a KIA...i cant imagine who would spend their time trying to find it 😀) . Also isnt there a way to change the remote frequencies?

Yeah. Completely changing all the locks and the alarm when you lose your keys seems like a little much.
