I live in Chicago, IL. Have a Kia Sportage 2000 my mom lost the keys so I need to replace the alarm system & all the locks 2 on the front door & the trunk. How much do you think it will cost.

Why not take it to a locksmith and pay them like $50-$100 to make you a new key?

I have more keys but I dont know where the keys were dropped I dont want anyone to just leave with the car like it was theirs. The keys had the alarm thing on there to arm/disarm the alarm.

If it was near the house they just press the disarm alarm button.

can't you just go back to the dealer so they can reprogram the alarm with a new key for you? they will probably charge you around $50-200$, depending how bad they want to rip you off.

Yeah. Completely changing all the locks and the alarm when you lose your keys seems like a little much.
