My Van is awesome, bought it for $500.00 a year ago and it runs great . 5-spd Manual, rear-wheel drive baby :)

MetalMat: You need to look for more expensive/higher reliability cars. I can't imagine what you've spent on all those vehicles breaking down.

4 cars for me:
[*]1977 AMC Concorde (parents bought it the year I was born, and I drive it from age 17 to ~19.
[*]1992 Toyota Tercel (parents car that I bought from them to replace the Condorde - Condorde still worked, but dad refused to let it near the house anymore).
[*]1993 Pontiac Grand Prix. Very unreliable (and magazines confirm that) but it was my wife's when we married, I didn't purchase it.
[*]2002 Honda Civic. Great car so far.

1980 Plymouth Champ: Actually my parent's car, inherited from one of thier cousins (long story), drove it from '94-97 when it was totalled by an old guy that didn't see me at 2PM on a sunny summer day in a parking lot.
1991 Pontiac Grand Prix: Bought it with 146,000 miles. Drove it from '97-'01. Very few problems, nice car, sold it with about 250,000 miles on the odometer. I've seen it around town a few times.
2002 Dodge Dakota: Waited 8 weeks for it, took delivery 10/01. Learned how to drive a stick well with it. No major problems. Ran 15.7@88MPH in 11/01 (first trip ever to the drag strip) Now at 53,000 miles. I need to get out to the strip again. (after the new clutch goes in) I'm planning on another 5.1 years/97,000 miles minimum with it.
