I'm lazily changing it by emptying the reservoir with a baster and refilling with new stuff. I will repeat until I figure at least half of the stuff in there is new. I need to know, however, how long it takes for everything to mix up. 5 miles? 500? I know with engine oil things mix quickly but what about this?

well the pump starts pumping as soon as you turn the car on, no need to drive it anywhere.

i suggest getting the front end of the car (probably via its jack point), getting the front tires into the air, and turning all the way left and right a few times.

Yeah, but how quickly would it cycle it all through?

I would give it 5 minutes or so. Its not like it has to move several quarts of fluid, maybe at most a quart. The owners manual of your car might have the volume of the system in it.

Yeah I figured it was around a quart, based on reading other stuff. Sadly the owner's manual has no volume for it.

Thanks all!
