YACT: How am i going to fix this??!!!

i was backing out of my driveway and not really paying attention. accidently side swipted one of my carport's posts:

how can i fix this??!!!!

Repaint the whole car. It's the only way to assure matching colors.

buff will deffinately help, also check with you dealer, have them find you the touch paint that matches your car.

that should buff out,and then use "Colored" wax.

wet sand with a DA at 220 grit and work your way up to 400-600. then 2 coats of primer, sand some more,,2 coats of factory match paint, 2 coats of clearcoat. then wash and wax. maybe some rubbing compound too. nothing 500 bucks can't fix.

yeah its a 2004 honda cr-v. so all i need to do is buy a waxing machine and buff it out with color wax?

take it to a body shop and get it done properly if you want it to look like OEM again

u can try to buff it out...buy a buff machine (they are only like $12 at walmart)...buy some of the tutlewax special color matching wax...wash the area real good...dry it real good...apply wax crayon to scratches...wax rest of the the area with bottle of color amtching wax...should be about as good as your going to do on your own
