I'm going to have to agree with some of the people in this thread, the Toyota will never die. We have an '85 we bought 4 years ago as a plow truck, the bes has long since rusted away and been replaced with a wooden one... but we figured we'd get two years of use out of it, at most. Stupid thing refuses to die, and we beat the living piss out of it. Clutch died, started went, but other than that.... nothing.

Don't buy a truck without 4WD. Its really a bad idea.

Like everyone else who likes best what they own, I vote Ram. Hemi power is nice. :)
Bring that HEMI to Eisenhauer with a 8000lb load... you'll wish you went Cummins ;)

Tis nice, but Diesel fuel efficiency is better. Dodge RAM Cummins!! or Ford Powerstroke!.

True, true... unfortunately, you can't buy or register the HO Cummins here in Mass., not sure why. Probably some emissions thing. Could get the non-HO version, but I don't do enough heavy stuff to require a diesel anyway, plus I couldn't afford the higher price of a 2500 + Cummins.

sounds like every other mid 80's to early 90's Yota. I'm jsut waiting for the T100's to start rusting like crazy.

I'm very happy with my 4wd Hemi Dodge. Ride and handling are excellent, power is amazing considering the low cost compared to the expensive diesel options. Interior is particularly roomy for a standard cab.

That and this board is highly anti-domestic.

Check out all of them and decide for yourself.
