Anyways, my drive a 2001 corolla, if you guys could suggest anything to help me please do so... if theres no quick fix, then i need to think of a way to get my car to a shop... :(

i think 2001 corollas had a problem with the starter, you may want to go to a corolla forum and get more information on that and see if they posted up a TSB.

Sounds to me like the starter, you should probably just have it towed to the closest shop you trust... unless you think you can get a starter and a haynes manual from autozone and do it yourself

Try to get a jump first... If that doesn't work try popping the clutch if, have a friend give you a push then release the clutch at speed (5mph) that should start it up so you can take it to the shop. Your car won't like it but is should start it up to get it to the shop.

I was gonna say this too. Is it a stick? If so put it in second gear and hold the clutch down. Then if you can get it rolling, say down a hill or maybe get someone to give you a push, with the key in the on position when you pop the clutch it should start. Then at least you can get it to garage.

Where are the Toyota fanbois in this thread? I thought those cars were perfect! A 4 or 5 year old Toyota is practically brand new.

Hope you're enjoying that luxurious interior while sitting in your driveway! ;)

Either the teeth on the starter bendix are wore down too much or the teeth on the flywheel are wore down too much and they are not meshing like they are supposed to in order to turn the crankshaft which starts the engine. For your sake, I hope the problem is in the starter.

Could be the starter, but my Mustang sounded very similar, and it was just a dead battery. If you COMPLETELY kill the battery and/or have corroded terminals you can't even jump the bastard off.
