YACT - Help me, by telling me what these parts do.

I went to a autoelectrical place for them to put a new alternator in my car and fix my starter, and they did some work thats was unnecesary/I didn't ask them to do. Now on their Invoice the some things are unclear to me. Luckily I have yet to pay them, and am in possestion of my vehicle, so I do have "some" power over them, if I want to contest the things they charged me for.

Could any of you explain to me please what each of the following is, and tell me if it has to do with the alternater, or the starter, and if not, briefly tell me what it has to do with:

1 - Resolder arm
2 - srk 25 kit
3 - Bendix drive

I really had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get some extra $'s to collect the amount of money they charged me for it, so it would greatly help me if i could reduce the charge from them, by not paying for things they did out of their own initiative.

Thanks very much.

Bendix drive is starter related. It's purpose is to engage the flywheel on the motor when power is applied to the starter.
