Is it possible to get under your headliner for the purpose of running wires without destroying however the fvck it's attached to the roof of the car? Is it glued or clipped or what?

yah, glue.

just start at an edge and pull it off, and use spray adhesive to attach it back.

 oh man, I really dont know if I wanna mess with this... I'm gunna try to run the power for my passport 8500 that came in today down to the kickplate and up the a-pillar... thats the easy part... but I want the power above my mirror... I think I might be better hot gluing it to the edge between the window and headliner

wtf, I cant do an ASCII doodle?!?!

You will have to remove the trim panels that help hold up the headliner...

Listen to this man. Run the wire under the trim panels. DO NOT mess with the headliner, you'll never get it to stick up / look right again.

Mine fell awhile ago, because the crap it's made out of likes to disintegrate as it gets old - plus I like to drive with my windows open. Ever see that "Pimp My Ride" ep with Big Ron and the old Cadillac? Where he has to wear teh goggles to keep the crap out of his eyes? It's that stuff. No amount of glue will hold it back on....I eventually busted out a needle and black thread and sewed mine up where it was sagging. You can't notice it unless you're looking for it...but it sucked trying to put it back up.

Yeah, why don't you just run your power lead up the A pillar under the trim there? You can prolly just jam it in between the windshield trim and the headliner at the roof.
