I had not planned on getting new wheels for my Z yet, but then a great deal popped up on a slightly used (less than 2000 miles) set of the wheels I wanted. So then I told myself I wouldn't get tires for them until the factory tires were worn out, but last week I got a nail in my factory rear driver side tire which was unrepairable (grr... only had 2900 miles on them!). So I said screw it, I ended up getting new tires for the new wheels instead.

Sometimes I wish I had a cheap hobby like knitting, instead I have this obscene computer hardware obsession and now this burgeoning car obsession... *sigh*

Very nice. To hell with knitting, a nice quilt would only turn the head of a grandma. Sweet, sweet ass car.

That car is lovely :)

How many more girls approach you now that you have a sexy set of wheels ?

Congratulations on the ride

Nice rims. What size are the rims (17x8)? They are volks right? Look at all that room for a big brake kit!

If I were to get some new rims, I'd either go with HRE, Kinesis, Volk, or BBS rgr or LM.

I don't like them. Nismo makes some awesome wheels that are wider in the back, and the rear spokes are angled outward. SCC called it "rear wheel drive machismo". 5 spoke to match the 5 lug nuts too.

Pics were taken with a Pentax Optio S4. The wheels are 19" Volk TE37s, 19x8.5 up front, 19x9.5 in the rear. I considered the Nismo LMGT4 wheels (as seen here) but they only came in 18", which I thought don't look as good on the Z as 19s did.
