some performance mod and have some fun on track.

i wanted to get a 240sx or even an older rx7 but those are too hard to come by and generally more expensive. :(

EDIT: when i mean track, i didn't mean drag.

cool.. :) i thought you're going to be one of those people that build another honda from the ground up... dump bucketloads of money just to make it run 14s in the strip... when you couldve gotten an f-body to begin with.

Project car ... heh, I got shoes older then that thing.
A "project car" is a 66 GTO that burns more oil then gas, rusted out panels, and drags its ass around on broken springs. At least when your done with that you have something. When your done with that, you've still got a Honda CRX.

(And yes, I was sorely tempted to buy that old goat a few weeks ago ... just don't have the time or cash for that kind of project right now)

I hate you, I miss my CRX. :(

Those cars are the ultimate beater, rider, fun car... cram some friends in the cubby hole back there...it's a blast :)

i paid $1000 for it, bought it locally. :D

I haven't check on the insurance for that yet, it's just sitting there for now. It probably gonna cost me around 600/year for liability, i don't know.

But with a B18c5, you could put a "Type-R" sticker on it and be telling the truth. :Q

Honestly, I'd say a B16a (2-1/2 grand cheaper) and turbo it. :)

Edit - "Cheaper" than the B18c5, not the B16b. Just to be clear. :)

Not in bad shape at all. What kind of mods do you have in mind? Those are pretty light so it shouldn't be too tough to make it fairly quick! Still a FWD honda tho ;)

I already miss my iroc and I haven't sold it yet..

i'm gonna change the springs and shocks to improve the handling, oh and new brake pads and air intake.

I'm also considering new set of rims and tires but i'm not rushing it as it's almost winter now.

Any recommendations on other mods? I'm not very experience and welcome to all suggetions and comments. :)

Depends on where you live, but in general, no. That's the JDM Integra Type-R engine - 4cyl, 1.8L, 195HP. :p

Other than a new engine? ;)

I'd suggest just getting a nice stereo so you can enjoy your tunes on the road, and putting the rest towards insurance.
