For a 1992 Mazda Protoge, 5-speed, sunroof, spotless interior, 62k miles (100,000 kilometres) .. $1.38k USD ($2k CDN). Hot deal? I see those cars going for $3-4k all over the place. My bro is going for this car. What do you think? It's red, and apparently rides like a brand new car, really really really clean, "lady drive" and apparently had routine maintenance performed by a trusted mechanic (name was provided).

But it is 11 years old. I remember back in the late 90's when a 92 wasn't that old of a car.

Your own own trusted mechanic check it out inside/out, the last thing you wanna do is buy a money pit. If your mechanic says ok, then buy it.

Awfully old, but not a bad price.
dudes, I know it's old, I can do basic math. 😛 My friend has an 89 Prelude 2.0S and my other friend has an 86 Camaro RS. Someone else I know has a 92 Civic hatchback and it's in the worst shape out of all three. I think how a car is driven and maintained has a lot more to say about itself than the actual age of the car. The 86 Cam guy has an uncle who owns a 1980 Cam, black, leather interior, nice V8, standard... perfect condition, weekend/summer driver. 😀 that's 23 years old! hehe
