YACT: Good deal on this car?

as a result of this, I've been looking for a new car.

one of my dad's friends is a repo guy... he has a 2002 Mazda Protege5 that he'd sell me for about $7K and change. car as ~10,000 miles on it and has had no problems that he's aware of. I'd pay for it in cash.

good deal or should I maybe hold out for something more reliable?

my girlfriend has a protege that is I think a 97 with 100,000+ miles.

I think proteges = corollas.
Well the older ones were corollas

good price for a protege5 with low miles. those have a higher value than the regular protege's

and although they do look like the corolla, there is no way in hell a protege = corolla. it's like saying the mustang = corvette.

btw just run a carfax on it and check out kbb for the value. chances are the title is not clean.

Good deal, and you will NOT really be able to find something more reliable.
