ok, I have finally got some cashed saved up to get my p/u up and running again. Its a 1992 dodge dakota 2x4 with the 2.5L I4

pic of truck

Its been sitting for 2 years now on ramps in my garage and it needs some work.

one of the things I need to do is give it a paint job. anyone know of a good place in western washington (state), preferrably the tacoma area, to get it re-painted? I'm not changing the color. But I've heard some different things about paint shops so I was wondering if anyone out here knew of any good ones. TIA

Don't waste your money on that. Trust me, that 2.5L isn't a trusty engine.

sure it is. the 2.5 I4 with the TBI is a great engine, only prob it has is a slow leaking valve cover (replacing that) and a stick hydrualic lifter.

just don't get a maaco special

What's the matter with Maaco? Poor quality?

Asking because we're looking to get our '95 Pathfinder repainted.

yes maaco sux, bad service, don't stand behind their work. will paint things you dont want them to paint. every car that I see with paint on their muffler, I ask where they got it painted and they say, "Maaco... don't go there"
