Anybody used one? Think they work? I've read on the bottles, and they recommend using a bottle every 3000 miles! That seems like alot. Will using one bottle help?

I read that if you use 4 tanks of chevron techroline gas it will do the same thing as the fuel injector cleaners. Since you are buying gas anyways ....... may as well save money and get the gas with the cleaners in it.

Probably wouldn't hurt to use it every now and again. Even if you use it every 3000 miles, it's not very expensive.

I've been dumping a bottle of STP Concentrated Fuel Injector Cleaner in my tank, every oil change for the past few years. It only costs a couple bucks, so I figure what the heck. My Explorer has ~138k miles. I get better gas mileage after I dump in a new bottle. In the back of my mind, I hope I am doing my engine some good...although I can't proove any long term benefits.

I use this too. My car was "bogging" down when I trompted on the gas. I tried some of the Redline stuff, and also replaced the spark plug wires and spark plugs..... now it's fine. The only problem is, I dunno if tthe Redline stuff fixed it, or the plugs/wires :(

I noticed getting better gas mileage after dumping in a bottle in my Toyota. But I wonder how much of that has to do with adding more liquid to the tank? My gas mileage increases were only really noticeable because I kept track of mileage and how much gas it took to fill up. Using the cleaner would get me maybe 1 or 2 mpg more, which very well could be due to driving conditions rather than the cleaner.

Some people say that they use different brands of gas so that they take advantage of all the different cleaners that they add to the fuel.

That's what I use. I have no proof whether or not it works, but it makes me feel good. ;)
