mazda's designing a new rx-7

designed with a higher output version of the renesis... goal to make it near 1000kg's, that's about 2200 pounds... higher output... maybe 270hp? 280? either way... that's killer!!! i for one am excited.... imagine slapping a turbocharger onto that bad boy... if you're looking at a car like this... you HAVE to give the power to weight issue some thought... ;)

lol, lightweight doesn't necessarily mean it's super crushable.... ok, so it kind of does... but i think mazda will take that into account somewhat when designing it............ i hope

Models can be good or bad, Brand and Build Location has nothing to do with it.

word... but all they say is this has so much power, and i can drop a chevy small block and do this and this and this.... well if it pans out, this will be (modded or not) able to go just as fast, and handle much better than a (insert domestic vehicle name) with a (insert engine here)

This is good news. I hope Madza builds a two seater. I have a four seat sports coupe but the back seats are pretty much useless.

i've heard from people that the back seats are like those in most sports touring cars... cramped... my friend used to have a 98 3kgt, and when i sat in the back, it was a$$ in one seat, legs in the other... sitting sideways...
