How do i do this?

Background: My stereo was working fine but one day stopped. Took it out and noticed the ground wire was no longer connected... few days later... it happened again. The only thing is, now the ground wire is grounded but nothing happens. The ground has gone out.

Does anyone know how i may fix this?

well, worst comes to worst, run a new ground wire to your headunit. Not a big deal.

err.. did u mean its a head unit problem? if so have fun troubleshooting that one.

Stereo as in head unit? It's usually not a good thing that it's not connected. Are you sure it's still properly connected?

it is properly connected... but the headunit still doesn't do anything

you may have killed it. hopefully you just blew the fuse though. check the back of the headunit or the constant 12v power for the fuse.

exactly how do i accomplish this?

If you don't know how to do this maybe you shouldn't be messing with your cars electrical system.

UPDATE:

It was a fuse... replaced all fuses associated with the radio and now it works... the only weird thing is now cd's won't play?
