..wha? I never said I can't afford to buy tires! If I do any autox, I'll definitely be getting new tires...the ones I have now are fine for normal driving, but they're definitely not sticky enough for autox (way too easy to spin in first..).

So there ya go! You can get pretty friggin "serious" autoXing as is... so what if it's not a fully-prepped race car. You'd still have big badookadunk buttloads of fun. You're outside, enjoying the weather... talking cars and shootin the $hit with other people with similar interests. Overwhelming majority of the folks are nice people... there's no hating.
