Anyone got any idea what is wrong when my stereo and all electronics in the car suddenly turns off and on again while the car is still running? I was driving in to work earlier today and suddenly the stereo turned off and I noticed the ABS light came on. This is while my car was still in motion. It lasts for maybe half a second and everything is back to normal again. This happened a few more times during my commute into work. At no point did the engine shut off, just all the electronics except the ABS light.

It's a 1997, btw.
 
My first guess is that it's probably Honda's notorious "main relay." Take it to somebody who is familiar with the problem, otherwise, you might end up wasting a lot of money having stuff replaced that won't fix the problem.

Nah, this isn't a main relay issue. It does sound like short/loose wire if its intermittant.
 
Your problem sound like a bad ignition switch wear prematurely. Honda has already recalled them. I had the same problem with my 99 accord. Call you dealer and arrange a recall service. Link
