Not sure how much of a problem this is, and I always make sure it goes out before I drive, but this is what happens:
I turn on the car and shift into reverse or drive then go to release the brake, but for some reason, if I haven't put the brake in all the way, the light will still stay lit even though the brake is all the way up. I can fix it by pushing the brake in really far then releasing it again usually, but it still kinda irks me. Should I be worried about this and is there some kind of quick fix? I'm taking my car back to the brake place as it hasn't even been 1600 miles since my entire front brakes were replaced and already they're squeaking again, so I might ask there as well.
Car is a 1987 Mercedes 420SEL.
