since i fuct up my car recently i'm in the market for a new one. i was looking today at a 1995 pontiac grand prix with the 3.1 V6 and a 4 speed auto. it has 222,000 km (138,750 miles). it has two very minor blemishes, paint is bubbling on the corner of the hood and the corner of the trunk lid. he showed an official MTO document saying the car had 4 total owners. it has working a/c and power windows & locks & steering. i haven't got a chance to start it up yet, but assuming it sounds good, he is asking $4000 cdn for it ($2969.60). i was hoping to get him down to about $3700 ($2746.88)

thoughts?

edmunds doesn't work so well because we don't have zip codes here. so i had to use buffalo, which is way more slummier than fort erie. but anyway it said it was worth $2575 US private party (when i inputted all the options i remembered it had) and then it proceeded to take off $1000 US because of the mileage and location.
