YACT: Do those intake sensor mods on ebay work?

There's so many of them for so cheap... so i take this just like those antenna boosters for cellphones. But I looked up how such things work and although the benefits are a little exagerrated... there is some sort of benefit though, however small it is.

Huh? What intake sensor mods? Are you talking about the ones that force the engine into cold-start mode all the time so that the engine runs rich and clogs the catalytic converter, forcing you to replace the cat in a couple years?

Haha... i saw those in an infomercial... but this one involves adding some sort of resistor to trick the ecu to advance the timing...
