This is a repost. Well, at least I hope it's a repost. :p

Way back when, links to detailed instructions for DIY services have been posted here for a variety of cars. One in particular is called, I'm pretty sure, the "Car Service Index." It's a thing where you enter your car make, model, and year and then it provides all this technical information about all the car systems. I swear I bookmarked it way back in the day but apparently I didn't. I've been Googling for a half hour and can't find it! If you have any idea what I'm talking about, do tell!

Also, there has also been detailed, step-by-step, photo-illustrated instructions for oil changes, differential and transmission fluid changes, and so forth posted for my particular car, a 2000 BMW 323Ci. As before, I can't find it. Where did it go? Did the internet swallow it up somwhere? I have no idea. If you've ever seen anything like that, please let me know. I've searched here, BimmerForums, and Google, and I've come up emprty handed. :(

Please help! Also, this might as well turn into another general car service thread. :D

EDIT: I can't speel. :)

That one website i think you are reffering to is from the etoolbox.com/ebsco, however, it was only a one year demo things and has been taken down.

I miss that site as well. I have access to a very large service database for Ford Motor Company vehicles, but outside that I'm forced to use Haynes manuals at my cost. :(
