YACT: Dang. My passenger side wiper if fubar'd

Looks like a bird trying to fly with a broken wing.

Luckily the driver side wiper is working fine.

I played with the wiper and it will turn freely on the knob that connects to the motor. How do I get the arm off the knob? Does it just pull off?

I assume the knob that the arm connects to is just keyed in some manner and the arm slips into the key so as the knob turn the arm moves. Is that correct?

I see either needing to replace the arm or the knob. Is that correct?

Might just need to pop the cap off that covers the bolt that connects it. Tighten it.

That should do it. (weird, this is the 2nd such thread in the last few days about wipers. Is it a seasonal problem caused by people wiping the snow off the windshield with the wipers instead of using a snow brush?)

Here is a link to a service procedure for removing them, but I have a hard time making out which type of wiper arm your truck has.

What usually causes the wiper arm to fail is snow and ice melting on the wiper blade and then freezing over time. The driver turns on the wiper and the motor moves but the arm doesn't stripping out the either the arm or the pivot.
