Today:
$27 - Gas
$80 - Group 34 battery
$70 - 4-wheel alignment (thanks, Pennsylvania!)
$220 - Two new tires (severe wear induced by both rears being SIGNIFICANTLY out of alignment by more than a degree each, plus all sorts of nails and other assorted road debris - again, thanks, Pennsylvania!)
$50 - A couple cases of oil
$45 - Various wiring and connectors and fuses and switches for some custom work
$0 - Detail in the McDonalds parking lot by some hot field hockey players trying to garner some fans. This wasn't just a hose and old tshirt job, either, they were microfiber and claybar equipped.

You let a woman near your car with a clay bar? For shame!

Edit: Come on, you must have taken pics!

I didn't let a woman near my car with one, I let SEVERAL women near my car with SEVERAL of them.

And believe it or not, I got my car back in better looking condition than it was in when it left the stealership (save for the floor-mat scratches on the roof, which are TOTALLY my fault)

And no, I didn't take pics, because I broke my camera months ago and have not yet been able to afford a replacement.

11.5 gallons of gasline: $27.
Group 34 automotive battery: $80.
Four-wheel alignment: $70
Two brand new tires: $220.
Two cases of oil: $50.
Wires, switches, and other custom materials: $45.
Taxes to pay for Pennsylvania's broken-ass roads: $3000.

Realizing that Pennsylvania might not be all that bad: Priceless.

Usually when they're doing those parking lot car washes, they are fundraising. You didn't give them anything?

A good oogle. Generally if you're expecting money, you don't walk around with sandwich boards saying "FREE CAR WASH"
