YACT: clutch problems (I think). Mechanics come on in! :)

The clutch was "clicking" whenever I engage it (it only clicks once each time I press on it). Today when I drove home, it was "sticking;" I step on it and it does NOT smootly go down. Instead, it doesn't click anymore, but goes down about halfway, and then seems like it's a little harder so I need to apply more pressure. It's not very hard, but that's the best I can explain it. I figured it might be the cold weather since it snowed today.

Anybody know if the clutch is going out or not?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

Obvious answer would be return spring or bearing on cross shaft. both pretty cheap.

Does it click when not moving like at lights?

Could als be through out bearing but they usually whirr or buzz with clutch out in neutral.

prolly throw out bearing (release bearing)

that is part of the clutch engage/disengage system. you'll need a new clutch when you replace that.
