to all the nissan fanboys out there ;)- and others,

/rant
doesnt it seem like manufacturers are copying nissan's designs?

exhibit A:
we all know the skyline, of course (R34)
picture 1
picture 2

now, exhibit B:
here comes along Hyundai with their elantra:
picture 1
picture 2

examine the front end /lights closely..it looks just like a skyline!

exhibit C:
chevy rolls out their impala with "sports trim" option
picture 1
picture 2
... doesnt the back look just like a skyline as well-
the front even resembles it-
front

you could cut the front half of the elantra and backside of the impala, paste them together- and get a skyline!
okay i think im done
:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

/*rant

That was a rant? I give it a 1/10.

I think the 'similarities' have a lot to do with camera angles as much as actual physical resemblance.

Umm...Impalas have had those circular lights for a LONG time..since the 60s I believe.

Only Nissan copier I see so far is Lexus with this HPX concept. But then Lexus is known for copying designs.

If I get a few beers in me, bang my head against the wall, remove my frontal lobe and replace it with a turnip - I think I can see the resemblance.

And, as somebody mentioned the Impala has had that rear-end design for a very, very long time. Well before anybody even thought of making the Skyline.
Probably before the person who thought of the Skyline was even born.
