well, i have been looking for the right car for about two months now, and i finally think im in my final few days of looking. if anyone recalls, I was in the market for a boxster, a TT, or an SLK 230...

well, i test drove a boxster, and a TT, and was really disappointed by both... yesterday i found an slk 230. now its slower than the others, but is a damn nice car. black on black leather. its a 2003 and theyre knocking 4 grand off sticker to get it off the lot before the 2004's come in...

im going to an auction to see if i can find anything else i want, but i might fianlly pull the trigger on the slk 230.

nah, i really dont know much about it at all.... i dont really like the hood either

What about the Z4, S2000, and 350Z Roadster? All of those will likely offer a better driving experience than the SLK which leans more towards a mini-GT.
The SLK is a nice car, but the platform is quite old and by all accounts the performance is not as good as its competitors (with the possible exception of the TT). The hardtop is a big plus, though.
