"...[the Accord Coupe 6-Speed] is the hottest ride in the mid-size, performance, sub-luxury class."

"0-60 in 5.9s and 1/4 mile in 14.5s @ 98mph."

Their only gripe was that handling and braking was slightly worse than the CL-S without a limited slip differential. Other than that comparable in all regards. This may change a few opinions here when people hear "Accord" and instantly think "econobox."

Don't 2 door V6 Accord's start at like $24k? That's hardly an econobox price. But it is a sweet ride though

when i think of Civics, i think econobox. Accords make me think "practical sedans".

i think its a little higher than that... maybe the IS300, BMW 3 series, A4s and C-class level...

Wouldn't that be an Acura CL (which is actually being discontinued anyways) or a TSX?

And its insane that GM is still stickin' to American's with their sub par V6 engines (3.1, 3.4, 3.8) that have nothing compared to imports

Caddy's lineup is decent. The supercharged 3.8 is also no slouch

Accord has never been the "econobox". That's been the "luxury" Honda. While nothing compared to a Lexus/Infiniti, they're still lovely rides.

My final decision actually came down to the G35 coupe vs. the Accord 6-speed. I didn't really think the G35 had all that much over the Accord except a few more horses and better (exterior) looks. As far as "luxury" goes there were not really any better features. The price difference was ~ $8-10K and there was a 5 month backorder on the G35 6-speeds in my area. Otherwise the G35 would have been the clear winner.

If your basing your econobox views on an 80's model, why the hell would this review change your mind? Wake up guy.
