My girlfriend got into her car to leave work. Gets to the bank and the door will no longer open. It's a 92 Honda Accord, so you have to lock the car from the outside. It also has power locks. The problem is that the lock was sitting halfway up and the door would not open. After playing with it she was able to get the lock to start cycling again when she would press the power lock switch. However, the door still won't open.
I took the interior door handle out. The bar still seems to be connected. The power lock solenoid isn't the problem because the switch still operates the lock. I'm wondering if there is a bar that got disconnected from the actual lock, so while the lock may appear to be working, it's not actually unlocking the door.
TIA
Charlie
