P1349 VVT System

You probably couldn't find it because a Chevy Prism is a toyota. VVT is variable valve timing. If you're not throwing the code don't worry about it.

i've had the code! that's the problem! i went to the dealership and asked them about this code. the mechanic said TSB's usually also have the fix to the problem. based on what i gave him (which is the same thing i wrote in my post), he can't determine how to fix.

the code went away when i jiggled some wires around.

but damage does the problem do, and what was the fix??????
