Hey folks.

My car has recently (today) started buzzing from the right front tire area (or so it sounds). I don't think that it's related to the engine, because itt does not buzz when I rev it in neutral, but it does buzz in neutral when I'm driving at speed.

The buzzing is directly proportional to the speed that my car is travelling. The car does not pull or shake, and the steering wheel isn't doing anything weird.

When I push down on the right front of the car, the bounce back is normal.

Any ideas? It's a 1995 Mazda 626.

What speed are you going when you start to hear it? I had a roofing nail in my tire that made a noise :p could be wheel bearing, dragging brake, I dunno.

Look at the tire and see if something is stuck in it.

I had a small screw in my tire for weeks before I noticed..as the screw wore down over a month or two, the tire started losing air faster and faster..heh

Yea, if not that, then the tires may need to be aligned.
Alignment won't cause a buzzing noise. It can wear the tires to where they make noise, but just being out of alignment won't do it.

Things that come to mind: Brakes, bearings, axles, CV's, something in the tire itself.

Get it looked at, or it will likely cost you more money after whatever's wrong goes totally bad and takes something else with it.
