YACT: Buying a stock shift for my '02 Cavalier

I would like to buy the stock shifter for my '02 Cavalier. I have a knock-off of a B&M, but its broken (joy :confused😉 and would like to revert back to the old shifter. I had my old one laying around, but alas, I can't find it. What is the website where we can buy authentic GM parts? Please spare me "omg you drive a cavalier LOL" or anything else equivilently as lame. As usual, those neffers are welcome to come on in, but any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I wouldn't be suprised if they charged me $100+ for a part that is worth about $40. I might go have a look around some junkyards. There wouldn't happen to be an internet junkyard where you search databases and have them ship you the part, is there? 😀

ATOT?

Okay okay, I'm looking on GM parts direct, but I can't find what I'm looking for... is the part I want possibly not carried by them? They are using language for parts that a car-moron like myself cannot understand. I see stuff about main shafts, input shafts, input bearings, shift fork, etc. etc. but I don't really know what to look for 😕

There are a couple, but i can't think of the sites off the top of my head.
It might be best to just check your phonebook for local yards, or even eBay.

Well, I think I wasn't finding anything on GMPartsDirect because I was looking for "mechanical" stuff. Apparently its under the category "Collision repair" 😕

Why not hit up a big Jbody web board and post a WTB thread? I guarantee thousands of people out there have what you want, and would sell for $20.
