YACT: brake problems

amdskip

Lifer
Brother is driving home from school, slams on the brakes, brake and battery dash lights come on and remain on. Everything seems to function correctly. Anything to be concerned about? Can you reset it by disconnecting the battery?

Thanks!

By pressing down forcefully on the brakes, the fluctuator valve has been shoved so far back it is stuck in the open position. The core module reads this and triggers the light.

Take it to a mechanic (if disconnecting battery doesn't do the job)

"core module" eh? you're giving a 92 corolla too much credit i think

check to see how much brake fluid is in there
