YACT:Best Place to purchase NISSAN parts ?

isekii

Lifer
Looks like our family minivan's power window switch is out now.
Where would be the best place to purchase this part ?

It's not the motor but the Switch itself.

Nissan needs to address it's electrical problems. First it's the stereo, and now the switch. 😛

I think dealer and junkyard are your only options with a 2000.
LOL!

Christ, it's only 4 years old! :Q Not 25.

That is the point. Usually you can only find "tune up", accessory and common failure parts for cars newer than 5 years at your local auto parts store. Everything else you have to get through a dealer parts department. I'm surprised you don't know this.

What is it exactly? The relay?

It's the actual Power Window Switch that's on the driver Side door.
The up button doesn't bring the driverside window up, but it goes down when you press the down button.

Oooh. Yeah. I get it. 🙂 I wasn't thinking with the right context in mind.

You need to know the part number though, but just email them and they'll tell you.
Don't even bother looking at the catalog. That's mostly for accessories. Email them for P/N, then search by P/N. They are maybe 30% cheaper than the dealer.

Emailed them, hopefully they'll be cheaper than $86.xx that the local dealership quoted me.

I've ordered from there before, they have nice prices. You might also want to check out Courtesy Nissan. In every part I've looked up for my car Courtesy Nissan sold it below MSRP.

I second this. Courtesy Parts is where I get all of my parts for my Maxima. Talk to Kaleb. He is da man.
