YACT: Best place to have Coolant/Transmission fluid flushed?

JEDI

Lifer
I have a 2002 Checy Prizm with 60k miles (90% highway).

I think it's time to change the Coolant + Transmission fluid. (Or does my car have 100k mile fluids?)

What's the best inexpensive place to do this? Sears? Jiffy Lube? or...?

Your driveway.

I need to change the tranny fluid in the Camry. It's been 4 years and 40,000 miles. I guess that's not too bad, but I'd love to put some nice synthetic transmission fluid in there, and some of that really good coolant.

Damn, I can't remember the website for that coolant.. hmm.

For the used coolant, you may have to take it to your local household hazardous wate center. I have one by me and they take stuff for free. DIY is best in this situation (you get to select what can be better fluids than OEM), except for the waste disposal part.

The dealer may do it for a resonable price, so look into that.
