YACT: Are headlight bulbs from the same manufacturer considerably different?

Specifically Philips. I was looking to buy Philips Bluevision for my car after reading reviews saying they were considerably better than stock. When I got to Kmart they only had 9007 Bluevisions left (I need 9004). Instead I bought Philips High Visibility bulbs. Do you guys think these 2 bulbs perform considerably different ? The bluevisions are made in Germany and the High Visibility in Mexico if that makes any difference. The bluevision also have a slight blue coating on it to make it look whiter. Wouldn't this blue coat make the bluevision perform worse than the High Visibility that I got? They all have the same wattage

Differnt headlight bulbs are different sizes. If you got the wrong ones, they probably wont even fit in your car.

I am talking about different bulb models of the same size and manufacturer (Philips), which in my case is 9004.
