Hey guys I need some help: I cannot find the damn fuel filter on my 4 cyl pickup(22R-E) Ive tried following the fuel line from the tank, but I lose sight of it in the engine bay. I tried finding an online manual , but I've had no luck with that either. Anyone have any experience changing one of these? I'd appreciate the help!

Edit: Gee,I've only had this truck for 9 years, you would think I would know what year it was! Crack kills, kids. I am living proof! I feel like such a tool.

Peace

98 toyotas are tacomas tacomas dont have 22res. pretacomas have 22re 85 and up till the early 90s before the tacoma was introduced. If you have a tacoma and 4cyn (2.7) the fuel filter is in the engin bay near the manifold
