YACT: Anyone ever ship a car from the US -> Canada or vice versa?

Im moving back to Vancouver next year. I live in Philly now. We're (fiance and I) are selling one car and shipping one home. Anyone ever do this? How much does it cost? Who do I need to contact?
 
Every person I've met who has had a car shipped (granted this is only a handful of people) said the car arrived very very late (like 4-6 weeks later than promised) and with damage. These were all cross country US shipments. A coworker here is moving to Mass and shipping her car. I'll know in a few weeks how that worked out for her and post the results if I can remember to.
