I've had alot of hoses go bad, but never the plastic overflow tank get a pinhole leak. I've had alot of little problems spring up since taking it to a dealership, and I'm starting to think they were gunnin for a little extra "maintenance and repair" work from me.
So, anyone had this happen?

I've personally never seen that happen, but who am I to say that it can't?

Then again, maybe they really did prick your tank with a needle.

The line from the top of the radiator to the overflow tank on my honda civic has been broken for about 100K miles ... I just check the level once in awhile and it's fine, but everytime a "mechanic" gets near it they start crowing that I have to fix it (which would likely mean replacing the radiator), or my car will die.

Of course my STBX is taking that car, so it'll be her problem soon

Yes, I have seen several tanks go bad. I had one customer refuse the repair stating "There still is coolant in the radiator." Two weeks later the wife has the car towed in for a seized engine, cause by a lack of coolant. The husband didn't even come to pick it up.
