Just wondering what people who have driven the TDi have thought about it... (other than the fact that it is slow as hell 🙂)

My father in law currently has a TDI Passat and has had a half dozen or more VW diesels before it, even though he currently has three.

I've had two regular VW diesels and I love them. Those cars won't die and they handle like a dream.

Geekender has one and loves it. He gets ridiculously good mileage even though he lives in a very hilly part of GA.
 
Yeah I'd be going from a jeep grand cherokee with the 5.2 V8 to a little diesel... I'm no speed demon by any means but I still wonder just how slow it is... I test drove an automatic but this one is a stick...
