YACT: '99 Camry XLE V6

Do any of you have one? Or, do you know what Octane does this car needs and how many mpg it gets? According to Edmunds - it does about 20/28 - just look for some real world numbers.

Do you have an owners manual? Most owner guides list the requirements in the back of the book.

I got a 93 previous generation. 87 Octane which is regular.

Since it's a V6 I think premium gas is required?

Nope the 93 I have is actually used but I got the Chiltons manual for that generation of Camry. Since mine has a catalytic converter I needed to use unleaded gas with 87 octane or higher. Could be different in the following generation of Camry.

Just remembered my dad got the Chilton's manual for his Avalon but its also the manual for the Camry of that model year.
It says unleaded gas 87 Octane or higher.

I have on '00 Camry XLE v6. Only needs 87 octane.

Gas mileage is pretty accurate to what it says. 20/28 sounds just about right... though it depends on how you drive it especially w/ the v6 that engine. Leave overdrive on and I think you can get more, w/ overdrive off it burns gas fast.
