I have a V1500 1991 Chevy Suburban with some troubles I can't diagnose. Sitting at a stop and taking my foot off the break (start in motion) causes this really loud metallic 'clunk' sound. It gets quieter the longer I ride, but its still there. Strangely enough, it also somtimes makes the same sound when I come to a stop. any help is appreciated.

Everon agrees, U-joint. One way to check is to coast down a hill and step on the gas. That will usally cause a clunk. The good part, their cheap and easy to replace.
