I finaly got rid of the horrid POS LHS today and got most of my money back on it.
Cruising Craiglist I found a 91 Infiniti G20 http://houston.craigslist.org/car/103388400.html
Looks good on the outside, but no milage listed I sent an email asking to set up a look over and asking for the VIN and Milage.
Any oppinons on this model of car, everything on edmunds seems to be fairly positive.

Edit: got a bit more info and was able to run a carfax on it, carfax is clean has ~150K on it.
going to check it out tomorrow. Also the guy added pics of the interior and motor.

Heh, that guy's tinfoil hat must be HUGE.

LOL @ blurring out scenery around the car :D

Looks like a good car, anyways...although those weren't all that common. Parts may be a bit tough to track down and/or costly.

Maybe he wanted to make it look like it was going fast... :p

But reliable engine and MTX is what I am looking for. :D

watch for rust and destroyed interiors, and don't expect much.

for $1500, it's an ok car i guess. might want to bargain with him based on the non-functioning windows. i don't think it'd be easy to pick up a manual one from the junk yard.

Its a fancy Sentra, not that it is a bad thing. Check out the timing chain as the guides are known to fail. Other then then that just the average stuff.

No, it's a Primera.

It looks like there is some kind of rip in the space-time continuum around that car. I'd pass just based on that alone.

Correct, but it does share a lot of parts with the Sentra.

I went and looked at the car today, overall its in ok shape has several small problems, but that is to be expected at the price, the main ones that i noticed were that the alignment was off some, the passenger side motor mount was starting to go and the driver side window was stuck up. Had several other smaller things like the power antena's limit switch seemed to be broken (but it still worked fine) the motor seeps a bit of oil from the valvecover gasket (not uncommon on a car this old) and the rear shocks should be replaced fairly soon. The clutch also needs to have an eye kept on it, its still the original.
I think its worth the $1500, Frankly any car that cheap is going to have some minor problems.
If all goes well I should be driving it home tomorrow evening. :)
