YACT: 2005-2006 Corolla Stereos

I just picked up an 06. (Flame me later about buying a corolla) And Crutchfield/Etronics w/e won't explain to me what fits my car. Is it a double din or a 1.5? I want to fill the space as much as possible with an mp3 player receiver. It is a 2006 Corolla S. It has the very basic cd player installed currently. If you know of a site that shows exactly what fits it please help me out. 2005-2006 models are identical.

Buying from teh dealer is expensive. Try to find one at the scrapyard or ebay. If anything, just go to target and buy another 4 set of car and driver's hubcaps. I had a similar problem with my camry. Everywhere else had these lame chrome peices of crap. The car and driver's at target seemed tasteful and looked better then black steel.

Ok, So I found out that it is a 1.5din. Which pretty much means nothing is going to fill it completely.

My new concern is that, when do car stereos and car speakers refresh with the new models?
