Anyone ever seen this thing in person?Text

I never even heard of the model until I went on a recent trip to Vegas and LA and saw a few on the streets,
hooked up of course with 24" rims and all but man I like it a lot.

Anyone out there with this or a Maybach looking for a full time driver? send me a PM.

its an ugly car, but RR's are the most comfortable cars in the world, i could care less what my car looks like when inside its like your sitting in a lazy boy navigating a super-smooth riding airplane.. ive seen a lot of other RR's in person but i have yet to see this one on the street, I know they produce limited #'s, anyone know how many of these were produced?

I don't like the way the roof sweeps like that to the trunk. Blah, ugly.

You can hook yourself up with one on fleabay...just saw one for sale there.

OR you could buy this purple Diablo with a $250,000 paint job of dolphins on it!

is it true about the rumor where RR technicians actually fly in to fix your cars and sometimes come by helicopter to your house? (well, most people who own RR's have large property so they should have space for a helicopter to land no?)

i havent heard about that for RR's, but i have heard of that happening for McLaren owners. also for McLaren owners, the seat is specially constructed and designed to your body contour.

Those rumors were around in the 60's. Like that of a guy who buys one in England and travels to France. The RR breaks down, he calls someone back in England, furious. The next morning the hotel concierge has his car running, waiting for him (already been fixed) and tells him someone left him a message that RR's don't break down, and the whole thing was a misunderstanding.

/e:
The irony is that the company went down because of low standards and reliability issues, or so say the people who bought RR.

question, how does it compare in comfort to the LS430?

yes, i know the Rolls is out of its League in terms of eliteness and price, but really, anyone compare, cuz the LS430 is just damn soft and comfy.

Simon Cowell said that the grill on that thing is the "beginning of Thunderbirds"... that grill looks like it belongs at a BBQ not a car!

I'm more of a Bentley Continental GT kinda guy anywho... I wanna sit in the drivers seat, but mebbe have the car do most of the driving for me. :D

EDIT: the RR engines are one of the few engines built that have NO head gaskets. The blocks are machine perfected and seasoned. Hand built perfection.

Aaaahhh excellent choice there. The first and only time i've rode in a Rolls it was in a Silver Cloud III (#4), a very nice old car indeed!
