Ok, so today i was rolling up my driver side window (automatic) and it stopped working. I can hear the motor still turning, but the window doesn't respond. Is there any way to fix this without taking it to a shop? Is it simply aligning the window up or is the motor fried?

Thanks for you help. I don't need any responses on how Jeep sucks, thanks

There's a little piece that holds the window in position that can snap off. It's pretty easy to fix if your car is like mine.

my gf had the same thing happen to her 2000 on the passenger side. i think a gear was stripped and it came out of the siding.
