YACT: 1996 Toyota Avalon (CD changer problems)

Recently bought a Toyota Avalon, have a 1998, beautiful machine. Basically, what is happening is that the 12 CD Changer is not working. It is loaded up with CDs and everything but when I press the CD button on the player. It says OPEN. I don't know what is causing it because everything is closed. The CDs are in the changer, the door to the changer is closed. But it still says open. There is nothing on this in the manual. Any help? Suggestions?

ahhh Toyota Avalon.....the car that almost killed Toyota in Australia, fvck they sucked ass, even compared to a GMH Commodore.


That'll learn em for trying to compete in a market that's dominated by Ford and GMH's RWD family sedan's
